Isn't it fun to have a night full of memories and opening up scabbed wounds of abuse?
Yeah, I didn't think so.
I fucking love Noah, but it hurts to talk to him sometimes. It is just so honest!
But it reminds me I am human, and loved, and fragile, and tougher than a ton of bricks, and that sometimes I'm lonely, and that usually...

Off topic, but i must mention it since it's kind of a cool coincidence. I too moved from colombia (bogot) to denver when i was young lad. I just thought that was kind of neat to meet a fellow colombiano living in Denver on SG. Um, thats about it. Cuidate parcero!

I have to get up "early" to get to the capital and cause a ruckus. I am happy and nervous and energized and exhausted. I've barely actually done anything, to tell the truth.
But hopefully we can steal the attention of the media away from Musgrave and make clever fools of ourselves! We'll see.

Where did you find this? It's cool that you're crossposting so much. This is something people should see.

I went to the gay-marriage rally.
It was absolutely gay. mad

I say gay, because it was the typical HRC, "we are rich and queer" crowd. I'm sick of it.
We're here, we're queer, we're boisterous: don't fuck with us!
We are here for so much more than reform of a system that has oppressed us and so many others for hundreds of years. We queers...

I went to see Leslie Feinberg and all I got was 24 hours with my bestest friend ever, Nicole.
Yeah, we were together for 2 years and all, but that was over a year ago! I'm over it.
Acually, I've been writing some pretty good poesm about how I really AM over it. I get nostalgic sometimes, but I realize that it is not because...

I went to the bookstore and read me some "Goodbye Chunky Rice" and almost started bawling in the middle of the store. Luckily, I did not, I held it all back, but I am now convinced that Craig Thompson is the best writer ever.
And seeing as how "Blankets" was the best selling comic book of 2003, he will be making plenty more books for...

They just posted an interview with Craig Thompson on the site. Please, go read it. And then either buy or find a way to read "Blankets." If you are a romantic, or ever have been, or have ever been broken-hearted, that book will make so much sense, in so many ways.
I can't say exactly what it is that is so amazing to me, but...

Is your name like the polish donuts eaten on fat tuesday?
Yummy tongue

Here is a story From the Detroit Free Press, I hope it explains.

February 12, 2002

BY MELANIE D. SCOTT AND LAURA POTTS
FREE PRESS STAFF WRITERS

Voislav Perovski and his family worked around the clock Sunday and Monday for what will be their busiest day this year.

With more than 100 dozen orders completed and shelves at The Family Donut brimming with assorted jelly-filled doughnut treats, the Perovskis seemed ready for the rush.

Today, the Perovskis and other metro-area bakery owners brace themselves for customers in search of preserving a sweet tradition.

Fat Tuesday is also known as Paczki Day (pronounced poonch-kee for the uninitiated.).

For 20 years, the Perovski family has sold the doughy, sweet treat on Fat Tuesday.

Their bakery in Hamtramck specializes in doughnuts and paczki.

"Our filling is homemade. We use several kinds of flour and fresh eggs," said Aneta Perovski. "This is a family-owned business, so we take pride in making the paczki."

With flavors including raspberry, lemon, strawberry, pineapple, blueberry, cherry, custard, apple, apricot and plain, several customers beat today's rush by purchasing their paczki Monday.

However, the Perovski family sees the day as more of a Polish tradition than as a day to pig out.

"There is a large Polish community here, and this is their day," said Aneta.

"It is the day before Ash Wednesday and the last sweet thing before Lent."

Hugo Chavez to submit to a recall election, probably.
I would think this a great idea, if the US did not have their small office of global corruption, the National Endowment for Democracy. That is a CIA run non-profit that donates millions to countries to skew elections. The CIA had to stop giving the money directly, so they established this to look good. Now, it...

NOOO!
Entry lost due to poor mouse navigation.
I couldn't sleep last night. That's what I wrote, except in the most beautifully poetic language ever. Try to imagine it.

I've watched it a few times, actually. But if you want to borrow the tape to show to people, you're more than welcome to it.

I just read your post from dec 31 about npr stuff about hugo chavez.
It never ceaces to amaze me. a. the fact that most u.s. citizens couldn't acuratley name what continent venezuela is on, or b. who Allende was, or where chile is, or even anywhere south of mexico.
The only thing that ever made me more cynical about the u.s. government than learning about the history of south america and central america was learning about the history of interactions between the u.s. government and the native americans.
christine_darc:
saw your post on aoife's page and just wanted to chime in. the revolution will not be televised is awesome!

it does a fine job of illustrating how the media keep us from knowing what's going on (like us stateside americans from knowing who hugo chavez is, for example.)
