I used to have a lot of close friends who were SG members, but they've all scattered to the wind at this point. I've also shied away from the regional group now that I'm teaching. Plus there are a lot of creep shows in the Boston area. Some of which I have already met and am trying to avoid. Ugh.

As an art teacher I have similarly annoying issues getting money...for supplies I need to teach my classes. And when I buy things and need to be reimbursed it takes freaking forever. Ugh.
There are a billion other things I could bitch about, but they're mostly my fault, so I'm content to stew about them until I figure out what's so fucked up about me that I can't seem to fix any of them.
I am right there with you. While I still feel passionate about teaching, quitting my job when I did was a huge mistake. I know I wouldn't be happy had I stayed there, but I've made a mess of the rest of my life in trying to improve my job situation.
I'd say come visit Boston, but I don't have a place for you to stay at the moment, and that's another story for another day

He can't really claim ignorance on that because he has seen the process I've gone through with SG on model release forms.
I have sent him a message about the issue and he hasn't even read it. So it's not like I'm not giving him the option to comply and/or explain himself.
*ETA: Since we shot Gir Love and Drink Me, Eat Me, he, as a photographer, has also had to sign release forms for SG in case they ever purchased them as well. So he knows the protocol pretty well.
