Ok, I had some words rattling around in my head and I had to get them down on paper before I could get some sleep. It's been a while since I've written any poetry, so please bear with me.

It is her whisper that stirs me at first,
and the sound of her breath
an unseen smile.
The softest touch of her hair across my...

I haven't really thought much about my leg work, but there's so much room on the legs that I want something gorgeous and out there. haha.

Another long day at work, done and over. Hazzah for that.

Monday is the beginning of the semester. I've got a mixture of excitement and anxiety towards that. Seems like my time off flew by without accomplishing anything, but I guess that's just how it goes.

Getting hungry now, off to fix something to eat. smile

Another long day at work, blah...

Did have a VA appointment today though. Got a new doctor who talks WAY to fast. I kept getting the feeling the guy was trying to just get over with it and move on to the next appointment. He was checking my heart and would keep moving to the next spot before I even breathed in. Weird.

Can I just say how annoying work can be? Perhaps vent a little?

I honestly love my job. I work at a small deli/sandwhich type place and it pays the bills alright while I go to school. With the beginning of another year, our store tends to slow down a little (everyone is over their big catered parties and is now trying to work off...

Sure I can't shoot off religious passages like some bible crazy (which I'm very grateful for) but I am familar with several bibles, as well as eastern beliefs...

Ok, I love books.

I've got this reading list that seems to just keep growing. My nightstand is becoming a mess of all these different things, and being a history major certainly doesn't remedy that problem. There's just so much to learn about...so many things that I want to know.

There's a large bookcase that stands in the living room. It's huge and white and...

"The teacher is the needle and the disciple is the thread"

~Miyamoto Musashi The book of Five Rings

For those of you who don't know 17th century Japanese swordsmen, Musashi was the greatest swordsman who ever lived in Japan (over 60 duels, never lost) and he went on to write his book of the five rings to teach his style and heiho.

Awesome book. smile

Picked up Borderlands yesterday as a belated-xmas gift to myself (thank you gamestop)

Pretty decent so far, though the multiplayer online seems to make enemies WAY too difficult.

Graphics are amazing though, the cell-shading they chose to go with makes the game look great. Oh, and the sound track kicks serious ass too.
