The new Gorillaz CD is awesomazing.

For something more off the beaten path, Optimus Rhyme is a great rap/hip hop band with some very nerdy lyrix.

Sage Francis is am amazing lyrical rapper.

Dengue Fever is a great band if you can stand international music.

Bangkok Impact has some extremely catchy synth beats.
