my goddamn cam phone has crapped out, so i can't show you what i've done/made/created/invented.

i sure need to get some shit together, avatar-wise.

life is crazy, and on the positive side of the scale, all things considered. quality of life took a nosedive when i started working 60hr weeks in heavy industry, but i've been walking home with scrap i-beams and shit like that,...

zarth:
The moral issues are a lot more clear-cut in retrospect than they were at the time. Many ardent Abolitionists opposed the war, while no less prestigious a figure than Robert E. Lee was highly critical of slavery. And I think Flux made a good point that the states of the former Confederacy have been made into something of a dumping ground for the moral conflicts that pervade all of America, South and North alike - it's not like lynchings and segregation didn't happen here.

But that line of discussion petered out pretty early. It's evolved now into a (surprise, surprise) vicious dispute about race, racism, and moral accountability. Which just proves to me that there are still some pretty serious issues remaining unresolved about this.

Looks like the sort of place where workplace accidents are nasty when they happen. I mean, that's not Paper-Cut Land.
Especially if it's boring.
arete:
that looks like where my brother works. he falls into the "city hippy" category. but i can see it in him, this part of him he usually tries to mask. it's the part that secretly feels tough and awesome for working with big, heavy machines.

ps- that little boy looks like a mini-you, right down to the curly curly hair kiss

Never seen a tree frog, I'm sad to say. British fauna is kind of impoverished, though.
arete:
no, i think you can. that's what i like about SG, you probably know a ton about me because this site allows you to.

i like how "warm snap" where you are means tree frogs. "warm snap" at this time of the year means the 7feet of snow start melting wink

scheming for the laziest way to back up all the wordage that i've pumped into this fucking journal.

Damned cam whores.

I was talking to Cherries about it earlier today... I do believe the phrase "watch me put this barbie in my vagina" was what she said.

And it's so true.

Dudes of SG. No, we don't care about your cock. Chicks of SG... less just being naked, more interesting conversation (WHILE being naked.)

Keep a little mystery, ladies.

sockpuppet:
What you need is (ahem) prohibited by the site rules. It wouldn't be too hard to manage, so long as all you want is the journal. But it's probably easier to just cut + paste.

Anyone who thinks it's a bright idea to grow pot in their backyard when they have children and the government is funding the DEA in general and "green harvest" in particular the way they do in this day and age is a fucking moron.

i could build a cult of personality based on denouncing cults of personality!

woodbury's where the commune is-- it's 30 miles east of murfreesboro.

as for thailand, i'm sure they technically have building codes, too-- at least in the cities. i'm sure they're just not enforced-- even if they are sometimes, it's not like they really discourage bribery there... but yeah. no county building inspectors. no additional codes.

the land in cali seems a little fishy-- i've never heard of anything so cheap there either.. just be sure to warn her about the usual things-- water rights, easements, land use/zoning..
