@strider57 you are one of those people that after time is up people will still be talking about you everyday and sharing stories that they never get tired of telling even if they know its been said to many times. your life sounds so much like an inspiration I just wish more people were able to read it and take what they can from it. congrats on everything im sorry to hear about your wife but im glad you were able to find happiness again. being pretty close to Beaumont I was able to picture everything you were saying better

I noticed you were from Houston. I still keep my Ez Tag account active, but now days it's usually just to pop over to The Woodlands, or the Toyota Center for a concert. None the less, I have a long term love affair with the Rocket City. I spent many a morning back in the day tooling around Houston on business listening to Stevens and Pruitt on 101 FM. These days it's Michael Berry at 740 AM on my evening drive back to Casa de los Woody. Another big change, gone are my days as a local Rock-n-Roll icon, long ago traded in for membership in the NRA and the Republican National Committee. Thanks for your kind words, I appreciate you taking the time to read my little saga. I've got a million stories about places I been and people I've met. I've often thought I should write it all down, but who beyond a few close friends who would care? The true irony being, I still have all the close friends today I had 50 years ago, so for the most part so much of what I've done in my life they were already there for.
