I had the reverse situation in my first marriage. My in-laws were pushing me to give my ex another chance! Constantly his mother would call me, begging me to take him back. But I ignored them and got the divorce anyways- he cheated on me numerous times, and after all the medical tests to make sure I hadn't caught some nasty STD from the jerk- I didn't think he deserved another shot!
