I'm back, and nothing has changed. Except that I teach elementary art 2 days a week in the Quincy Public Schools. I keep forgetting that I'm a grown up. I gotta work on that.

MY WEBSITE IS FINALLY WORKING!!!!

SO HOW'S EVERYONE DOING!
I'M FLIPPIN FANTASTIC!!

I did two drawings last night.
and I bought twenty comic books.
Good times!

If you like crime comics and haven't read the comic book "POWERS" by writer Brian Michael Bendis, you need to.
Almost all of them are available in graphic novel form.

I tried to look at your website, but for some reason there wasn't any scroll bars, so I couldn't see anything. frown But I like the pics you have up in your profile.

As far as the "procuring of the tattoo 'gun'", I really hope you follow the advice given to you in the tattoo group.
The tattoo industry really looks down on people that just go out and buy equipment and start tattooing without going through an apprenticeship first. In fact, most of the equipment you can get out of magazines, i.e. starter kits, are crap. A lot of supply companies won't even sell to you unless you can prove you work in a real shop.
My husband and I work for a tattoo magazine selling advertising. We don't accept ads from suppliers unless they follow the guidelines of checking out an artist/shop before they sell them the equipment.

Congrats on the website!!!! kiss

I'm gonna be more productive damn it!

I've got this idea for a mock super hero trio. It'd either be a series of paintings or a comic book. or both, depending of how long it takes to get sick of it.

The amazing adventures of...
Whiteman, captain cracker, and ranger redneck!

They defend whitemen everywhere (in america) from the perils of affirmative action, hip hop...

Sorry I haven't replied sooner.... I haven't been online much.

Have you tried doing your art projects with your son? Maybe give him a mini version of whatever you're doing? (What kind of art do you do?) I've started doing this with my daughter. I like to make hand-made dolls and the other day I let my daughter help me with one, I even let her do some of the sewing! It was fun, and a nice bonding experience.

Hey there Sweet Avenue,
and whoever else might happen by,

I joined SG a while ago and then quickly ceased posting after 2 ambitious days of paroozing the site.

But now I'm back! I don't know if the cycle will continue or not. I guess I like reading about other people more than blabbing about my own boring life.

I recently discovered SGBoys and I...

Hay take out "guy" and "the" and I'll like it alot better

Thanks
peggy:
LOL.....that's exactly it! Except I think I have washed away all regret about not looking back. I have my husband's family. They've practically raised me since I was 15. They are who I call my family now and those fights that you described where you fight and say "never again", but then come back.....I have those with my in-laws.

I guess it doesn't matter 'who' exactly your family is. As long as you have people that you consider family. In my case, it's someone else's that I use.

Oh, and good luck with the vain metrosexual thing.....that kind is hot. wink

I got new work done on my arms. Check out "My Tattoo Pics"

and Keep in mind...

The Diesel Tattoo is self-deprecating humor. It's a stab at my ego as well as at all the "Ya-dudes" who use words like "Diesel" to describe people. and despite my greatest attempts to be a more "culturally sophisticated metrosexual" I can't shake my base Towney mentality. So, without...

yes ireally am that english haha, 100% just out side of london, and my teath are fantastic, its all a ruse the bad teath nonsence, but yes, i do like tea that much, i've been up since 9am here (its now 10.15am) and ive drunk 4 cups

tatoo wise though, i had to move it about a bit but my tatooest specialises in 50's rockabilly, (on at the big uk convention infact and offial tatooest for some rockabilly rave here in the uk) so i let him have leway with shadeing and placement, as otherwise if i made him do exactly what i wanted it may no look as good. i love going to his, his other stuff on me is fansatic!

ta ra, i'm off to drink tea and do englich things

My wife and I are in need of meeting cool new people who don't mind that we have a kid and understand that we can only hang out, like, one night a week.

We're into intelligent conversation, being vain and shopping, Indie/Emo music, Tattoos, Painting, Politics, art shows and not having nights out where people act moody, depressed, or drag everyone down. When we actually...
