Last Monday the temperature here in Missouri was a high of 35 and a low of 18. Cold but expected at this time of year. I wore warm clothes and drank hot coffee, I was good to go.

So this week I completed a three day FTX (field exercise) in austere conditions and freezing temperatures. We shot a lot of bullets, threw a lot of grenades and overall had a great time.
The DOWN side was staying out and not being able to shower for several days.
