So I got reveiwed at work yesterday.
All perfect scores with client care and relationships with my clients and the hospital as well.
Then I got a very low score in my attitude with co-workers.

Cried myself to sleep.

I love that picture! There is so much going on around them and they still are able to smile and make faces at you! I proud of you for going to Haiti, every time I saw some thing about Haiti I thought I have a friend who is there helping right now.

On a completely unrelated note I am going to a bike show tonight to see if I can find a good deal on a bike to use in duathlon's.

Another story from Haiti.

I met a mama there named Ivrose.
Ivrose was from Port Au Prince. Her husband died in the earthquake. She lost everything material in her life. Her and her baby survived. When I met Ivrose her baby was in the hospital. He was 7 months old. He had very bad diarrhea. When the earthquake many mama's stopped breastfeeding because a rumor...

I'm back from Hait.
I am changed forever!!

I saw so much beauty and so much sadness all meshed together.

The reality was so different than my day to day here in the US.

I attended several births. All of the babies I caugh survived. But all of the births were not often beautiful.
I attended one birth with a beautiful Haitian mama. The birth...

4 days until I leave for Haiti.

I will see this little one while I am there. He was in the earthquake in Port Au Prince. A bed caught on fire and burned his arm and leg pretty badly. His leg has not been healing very well. He had no treatment until my friend was there and that was 1 month after the earthquake. The...

I really admire you for going to Haiti.
No doubt, your presence there will make a difference and save lives.
You are one amazing person.

It does seem as if Uncle Sam has it in for the Hatians.
Following the roadblocks that an Aid ship is having to
go through to get there.
1- a private pleasure boat with volunteer crew is held up
until they can get a licensed captain, a retired fellow from Maine
volunteeres.
2- Customs wants an invetory & declared value and TAXES on the donated goods.
The boats owner hasn't the money to pay this.
The Big looks good on the News stuff gets there, but the Dunquirk level
of action gets thwarted.
Be strong, because alot of what you will see and be unable to affect
will break your heart. All of my best to you and your crew.

I need to go to Haiti. My heart is pulling me there.
There is a call for midwives.
I have to figure out a way to go for at least a month in the next 6 months.
The need will stay for many years to come. Maybe I should just plan now for a month or tow a year for years to come.
I have...

I saw on the news at least 2 babies being born and both times thought of you, i'm not in the least surprised that you feel the need to help and wish you luck should you go. I have no skills that would help other than to offer a helping hand and moral support, it's as sad as the tsunami a few years agofrown
