Why is it I only ever update when I feel as though I have nobody else to talk to? Never when I'm happy (at least, truly happy...) or just after I've learned a new song on the guit-box, and I'm feeling all triumphant. No, only when I'm one of those skint, morose fuckers everybody hates to be around.

I feel like I've been hit about...

It has been too long.

I have a pint of haagen-dazs chocolate in front of me, and I can't eat it without some form of sledgehammer, or perhaps a jackhammer. Some sort of hammer, anyhow.

Things that have changed since last we spoke: My hair grew a little, and was chopped off, a little. I got a job, lost a job, and then got a...

man, you've been through some misadventures.
that haagen daz chocolate sounds tasty, but i have to stay true to my love, h.d. strawberry. now there's some ice-creamy goodness.
and yes, i've had a bic pen run out on me. not pleasant.
hayes:
yeah to hair growing, oh and road trips. Think I may take one in April to Montreal, for a little UFC for my b-day. Hope your year is shaping up well smile

It's true, dear friends.

No matter how much I ignore it, or deny it, or attempt to break free of it -- I am broken. **pause** OK, to satisfy the naysayers amongst you (you know who you are) perhaps I am merely badly sprained.

Beautiful girl meets nocut. Flirts with same for several weeks. Makes intentions known (no time for honest-to-goodness relationship, but casual sex...

Fox in the snow, where do you go to find something you could eat?
Cause the word out on the street is you are starving
Don't let yourself grow hungry now, don't let yourself grow cold

Girl in the snow, where do you go to find someone who will do?
To tell someone all the truth before it kills you?
They listen to your crazy...

And so the great hunt begins.

As much as I love being homeless, jobless, listless, and completely without responsibility -- it's all really just a veil to cover reality. I have bills to pay, and so this week, I must bust my ass and find a job in Toronto, or else take up permanent residence under a bridge near Lakeshore Blvd.

I'm going to talk...

Hi there, dear reader.

So, it has been a great tour. Niagara Falls to Ottawa, and nearly every town in between. I'm exhausted, but I've never been happier. Lost some weight, gained a big ole' Grizzly Adams beard. Covered many, many kilometers on my bike. Have now set up the stage and lighting rig 36 times -- could do it with my eyes closed now,...

Alright, freaks 'n geeks, I'm outta here!

That is, I'm moving to Toronto to become a full-time travelling minstrel for the next two months: wish me luck. Internet access will be sporadic (read: internet cafe) at best.

Any of you local hipsters who might be into seeing some pay-what-you-can Shakespeare this summer, check out www.driftwoodtheatre.com -- look for the schedule of shows which span this...

2:48 a.m...

My office is completely empty. The security guard keeps circling, vulture-like. The whirring of the table-top fans reminds me of the desert wind in Mad Max. I should be thinking of sleep, or beer, or the future. I'm not.

It's funny. I've been coming to SG nearly every day, but I haven't looked at a set for weeks. I check the boards, say...

I should be ecstatic. I should be champing at the bit to get the hell out of my job-job-type-job, and go immerse myself fully in the realm of theatre for two months.

Why aren't I? I haven't packed. I'm not calling everyone I know to tell them the good news. Why does it feel like I'm simply going from one job, to another? I used...

yes they did play old as well as new, Psalm 69 is one of my favs and it was fucking insane (hence the quote) When Revco was on I just happened to slip to the washroom real quick just as they let any girl who wanted to up on stage, and they all got to hug Al, dissapointment of the century for sure!!! This was my 2nd time seeing them, I didn't see the Lollapalooza show, but my hubby was there and he likes to rub in how amazing that show was to me all the time...

Some words in the English language just make me roar. I heard a few of them today, and I thought I'd share:

Doily.

Boot. (or, for that matter -- anything that starts with b-o-o... Boob is pretty darn funny, too.)

Sassafras.

Lemur. (actually... Lemurs are funny in general.)

ok... everyone who replies (bwahahaha) please add some more insanity to this already sleep-deprived entry, alright?

Met the lovely Tiree today.

Goose poo was involved. Older men on electric carts swooned (but mainly over Ballou.) I was a sweat factory.

It was marvelous.

Now, I'm going home, putting my head as close as possible to the fan, and making like Darth Vader.

Sweet dreams.

I can't pass this off as mine... but I nearly peed when I read it, so here we go, a little pre-fab side-split from yours truly to the gang at SG.

I'm just going to get to the meat of this conversation...

Man do I love fuckin' Brunch with a mad freaky passion. Seriously, what meal is better? You might try tossing a few suggestions...
