I'll add a realization I had recently. There are tons of selfies online where people don't really look the way they do in person. Now we all know the favorable angles, especially that one where you hold the camera up just above eye level and snap a pic that is slimming, see profile pic here. :-) I've been on dates with girls who didn't look like their pics, talking about this when they ask, I look like my pics, don't I? I genuinely believe these girls believe they look like that. Anyway, I was looking at my sexy self in the mirror one day, and it hit me, my eyes are up here and my belly is down there, boom, favorable angle. We look to ourselves in the mirror pretty close to how we look in our selfies.
