So just some random thoughts, do you think lesbians actually liked the Mormon polygamy culture in the 19th century? It seems like the perfect cover. Since he has other wives she wouldn't have to sleep with him as much and if she found someone she really liked maybe she could convince him to marry her as well. Why don't you court sister Whipple? She sure...

I just wanted to give big props to Jason Collins right now. He became the first athlete in one of the four major sports in North America to come out as openly gay despite the fact he's still wants to play in the league. He's been in the NBA for 10 years now and would like to continue playing, but that didn't stop him from...

I hate the media. Can we stop calling them news organizations because they're not really in the news business anymore. They're out there to make money like any other business and they do it by sensationalizing anything they think will bring traffic to their website. Do you know they can't be sued for liable for what they write in a headline as long as they...

re: artistic ability:

any person who knows how to write with their hands legibly can learn how to draw what they see in front of them realistically.

modern art usurped the previous school of art, that essentially trained people how to draw with realism. Absinthe popularity in europe resulted in impressionism, pointilism, and so on. political art by Picasso and so on made a move against religion and government, abstraction followed.

but you?

you can learn how to draw a sketch of the random junk on your desk where it's in proportion.

it just requires proper education. it's not like artistic ability is a magical gift from some greek muse. it's like music, wtf....

reminds me of the media.

I don't normally post a day after I just posted a blog but I wanted to say something on the bombings at the Boston Marathon. If theres one thing humans are really good at, its being complete douchebags towards other humans. Its like we have it down to an art form. Weve perfected douchbaggery through countless years of evolution. But weve also perfected the ability...

That's precisely what makes humans so complex and bat shit difficult to understand, no matter how many tests and theories we formulate from social and psych evaluations/observations. Deep down we've all got that...innate nature to be monsters or saints, some of us playing both sides simultaneously, and it may either be activated via environmental structures or lack thereof.

Lately I feel like that line between good and evil has become so skewed, that these once polar opposites are now synonymous with one another (seeing as how good and evil are subjective, and good/evil depends on the opinion of the person performing said action). But as you said, tragic times really highlight how superhuman some of us can be, when we risk our own safety to help a total stranger.

And maybe I am totally out of line here, but I often wonder if we as a society should put so much emphasis on finding out WHO performs these heinous acts, as opposed to finding out WHY they were done and what we can do to prevent further crimes. Personally, I don't care about putting a face to these bombings if I can never fully understand what their rationality was. (Not that I'd agree either way, but curious minds just wanna know biggrin) This country can be so much stronger if we focused on preventative measures, as opposed to becoming so violated and vulnerable during tragic stricken moments, and then transition into a hellbent force fueled by seeking vengeance rather than true justice and valuable understanding.

Sorry for the long rant on your blog! tongue Hopefully I made some sense, as it probably sounded better in my head, lol.

Ahh! Tax day! This day sucks! Or maybe it blows. Maybe it sucks and blows, kind of like a $20 lot lizard. And why do we use sexual terms to describe something negative? I'm getting fucked. I got screwed. I'm taking it up the pooper shooter. This bites, sucks, blows. Shouldn't those be mostly good things depending on what you're into? I love this day,...

To be fair, some of the nicest people I've ever met have been Mormon, but all that Lamanite nonsense has to really complicate things when it comes to having any kind of a rational discussion on race relations. Besides, I've been to Salt Lake City. Very clean, orderly place and it has a certain amount of charm, sure, but it's like being caught in the most boring version of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" ever, when you get down to it. Packer might think he's being all holy with that regressive cultural homogeneity BS, but it sounds like hell to me.

I didn't mean to make it sound like I thought you were hating, I just have a hard time being blunt myself, and I probably soften the things I say more than I should. Keep telling it like it is!

So I feel like I'm in a slump right now. Here's the story I wrote for Niners Nation last week but I feel like I'm forcing it. It's weird how sometimes writing can just come easily and at other times it's a real struggle. It wasn't even particularly original since I had written something similar here and here. Before you know it I'm going...

For whatever reason you refuse to feel this space we're in,
To know it's insanity, really know it,
Whatever your particular anesthetic is, that you hold onto so desperately,
The thing I mean that makes you think you know who you are,
Whatever that thing is that you allow to keep you sane,
Your ace in your hole,
The psyche that keeps you from trying...

Here is my new post for Niners Nations this week here as well as the first part of the story below:

The NFL combine is now underway and the question every NFL team really wants to know isn't who's the fastest, strongest, can jump the highest, or can wonderlic the best (I'm pretty sure that's the way you say it), what every NFL team really...

well, I sent a message to President Obama about the Nigerian Scammer, and then I googled the FBI, because the CIA doesn't do civil lawsuits. President Obama really put the heat on those Nigerians, I'm proud I contributed to a better world. I think it was about a week later I got an email from the FBI and they told me that the Nigerian Government was co-operating with them and I was one of the people due money. I can't find the link, but the UN threatened them with sanctions. And to think, if I didn't catch that FBI email in my spam folder I wouldn't have the money for my TV Pilot. I can't wait until my international bank account approves my registration fee. I had to borrow a bunch so I could pay for international bank insurance, I can't get the 200K unless I do that.

http://www.adbusters.org/ a publication originating in Canada, Culture-Jamming.

the twitter hashtag #occupywallstreet originated here. decentralized with no leadership, it was not usurped by conservative investment, it did not suffer the same fate as the 'Tea Party Movement' and it was mainly not infiltrated by diseased and cancerous money.

It took NPR 2 weeks to actually mention any of it publicly after they started.

There are no #Occupy candidates (with empirically 'scientifically measurable' 'emotional IQs' in the 'developmentally disabled' range of the emotional IQ spectrum) currently in office now. 'Perveted' 'Tea Party' candidates got rickrolled into office.

locate the origins of the ballet dancer posing, literally on the 'Golden Cow' sculpture, most people jokingly pose for a photo by it's basketball sized nuts and ass.

I got my story done for Niners Nation last night so anyone interested can read it here, and I know there are oh so many people who want to read it. As I write this my dog is trying to burrow behind me back. I think I may have the laziest, most codependent jack russell there is. smile

One thing I've noticed about talking online is...
