Well what an awesome weekend, all the South African teams won the rugby, had all my friends come over for a visit, my sister even came over with her new boyfriend. My sister and I have had a strained relationship for a couple of years now and I have not seen her or spoken to her in six months, my sister and Jo-Anne just don't get on and it is pretty difficult when your sister and wife think of each other as bitches. Hopefully in a couple of years there relationship could improve.
Finally have broken the back to the website I have been working on, not my greatest work but it pays the bills, or the hole in the credit card from the purchase of the new bed. I need to speak to the client today to try and inject some life into the website, it is just there brand lacks focus and it is difficult as I am just the web monkey not the marketing manager.
An old friend of Jo-Anne's came to watch the rugby, he is not a half bad artist and enjoys doing some really epic proportion oils, and we have asked him to do a picture of Joanne and I and our three bundles of joy (puppies) Chucky, Fidget and Zoey. This is for a wall of memories pictures of good times, our wedding, pictures when we were children and of our families. This picture should not take him to long about 3 months, longer for the oils to dry.
The other picture we asked for is an 2m x 2m abstract painting for the lounge, I have always loved cubism as a style, so I am hopeing it is something similar to that but we have given him complete freedom, we just want some input into the colours as the painting will tie the lounge and dinning room together. It will take about a year to paint but the nice thing it will be one of a kind and ours, so it is ok to wait.
I hope everyone has a great week.
