The Ides of March are upon us... WS

I am stumped here in this land of enchantment. Two feet of snow and spring begins this weekend. I was snowed in most of yesterday and today. I don't have a shovel and used a utility broom to clean off my car so I could buy some much needed groceries. Mission accomplished, including some sweets.

I did'nt...

You have great taste as well and a lovely open mind!! I've grown up listening to "classic" rock, so that's pretty much why i'm into The Band, dylan, etc. So I consider myself lucky that my parents liked good music--and films too for that matter.
I actually have not seen Sideways, but your comment seems to go with what I've heard, it's entertaining but speaks to the menfolk, it's what a chick flick is to women, heehee.
talk to ya later,
miao!!

Thanks SG, your update maintenance ate my new journal.

Anyway, I took custody of my son and our lives, they are a changin' for sure.

Tax season is well underway and us boring accountants are off to make sure the government doesn't mismanage more of our money than necessary.

Please, keep good records. My house is surrounded by bags of papers my clients call bookkeeping....

I am off to the Garden State. I have some family business to attend to, i.e. regain custody of my son and rebuild his life from the hell he is in. It will be a load, but I have all the tools to make it work. Love, desire, and patience.

On Sunday, the Eagles will whip the Patriots (24 to 3). It will be a...

I am not your judge. I admire your (written to another SG) openess. Abortion is not something one should be shameful of nor proud of. I have been to that same center. I felt weird escorting my partner to have an abortion. I have had mixed feelings ever since. I am not a woman, and it was her decision. I neither regret it nor forget...

Is it really possible for man to have a lady friend, you know just a friend? I get my comfort talking, writing, philosophying with women. Why? Well first off, they (you) give me honesty, intelligence (mainly), frankness, comfort, and your ego is not getting in the way of your thoughts.

Hey, I like men. Winning for me is more of an evolution than "win at...

If you want a woman to be your friend, you must, first and foremost, be a friend to her. I'm not sure if you are capable of this. You know I have not wished to discuss sex with you and yet you have pushed that envelope in as many ways as you can, given the smallest of opportunities. Frankly, you have not been a friend to me. I can find nothing so redeemable about you that I would further subject myself to your advances.

Maybe you need someone less "sensitive" than me? Or perhaps someone a little more gullible.

Let's take a deep breath, now one more time. Close your eyes and think of the most beautiful rainbow you have ever seen, reaching its spectrum accross the afternoon sky. Smell the scent of a rainfall. Now, I want you to say to yourself, I am worthy of all good things that happen to me. Remember the words, I am worthy, I deserve good things,...

Sorry to all of you in the upper mid-west, it was near 60 today and the mountains still have a nice frostin'.

Today I went to a banquet for all of the state legislators and other would be politicians. It was standard fare, full of crap.

The state here is near the bottom when measured on literacy, low per capita income and drop out rates....

Memphis, April 4, 1968

It was all over, the end of America's innocence. We killed one of our brightest and most endeared figures in American History. I am still saddened.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. stood tall in the face of prejudice and ignorance. He fought not only for African Americans, but for those who were poor and destitute. He brought all hope and he...
