So I had yet another nightmare about my ex last night.
I hate this. I want him out of my life...out of my head. Why am I dreaming about him?
At least my boyfriend wakes me up from them, so I don't have to suffer through the whole thing.
It sucks though. I don't want to tell him what they're about...even though I think he might already know.
I just want to move on with my life, but I can't when I'm scared to sleep because I might have a fucking nightmare about his crazy ass.
Has anyone else dealt with this? Can you do anything to get rid of them? Aside from not sleeping...

I have found, for what it's worth, that my dreams often will include people and places that are not in the forefront of my memory. I wouldn't use the word "repressed," that's not accurate, but the fact is, if on the other hand I consciously think of someone or something before going to sleep, while I'm getting ready for example, I don't generally find them in my dreams. Sounds odd, I know but for me it seems to be effective.
