Not much is new with me at this exact moment in time.....but I think they will be soon.

S and I went out on the weekend just for fun and bought over 60 items to fill a kitchen, not including pots and pans and dishes. I still have another page of things we don't have.

After much discussion and thought I have decided to take...

If I could, I'd get a Hybrid right now.
But I absolutely 100% do not have the money to get a new car. At all. Whatsoever.
And my parents don't have the money right now to help me get a new car.
I'm stuck with this one for the next six months, at the least.

I'm also going to be taking 17 credits this semester so even though I plan on getting a job, I won't have time to work more than 5 or 10 hours a week, which will just cover basic living expenses.

So I have to make do.

I've decided that telling my personal friends that I put up a set in SCS doesn't count as spamming.
Even though I'm sure you don't normally vote on sets, will you go to mine and leave an awesome comment going on and on about how wonderful the set is and how I should be a suicide girl RIGHT NOW? That would be totally cool.
It would also be cool if you would tell other people to vote for my set.
I'm trying to figure out how to tell as many of my friends to vote for my set, and to tell other people to vote for my set, without being annoying and being considered to be "spamming."
I am still not sure what extreme counts as "spamming."
But yeah- here is the set. It's a lot better than most of the shit (err gorgeous sets) up in the hopefuls section. Attaining Enlightenment

Half day of work to finish some things off and then I'm done until 2008 with some small things to do at home. I am very much looking forward to the next week and a half off. My plan is to shop, visit Kev (suddenly_subtle) if he is around, knit myself something, and cook:

1. Zucchini Vichyssoise
2. Cheese Straws
3. Ice Cream...

My boss sent me a link about a man ranting about how he hates Macs. It was a blog, so at the bottom there were comments....This was one, and it had me chuckling all afternoon:

PCs are for the leather and latex S&M crowd -- those who love a machine that is painfully difficult to use, necrophiles who are thrilled by the blue screen of...

I am doing much better. Things are coming along:

1. We have settled on a moving date of August 1st...yes, we like to plan in advance

2. Winter has not treated me very well - I have had multiple incidents with snow and ice and one incident with a garage door and the car breaking. I love love love my car though. I feel actual...

Petite Jamilla kicked my ass last night. She makes everything look so fluid and easy. She's a great teacher, just need more time with the combinations and choreography. I am glad to have had some tribal fusion drills in the past because they re-appeared last night and it made things much easier to go "oh yeah, I've done this already".

So seriously thinking of switching...

I am not doing very well right now but thank you to everyone who had something kind to say, publicly and privately. I doubt I will ever talk about this publicly as I feel it is intensely personal between S and I, part of the fabric of our relationship now I guess, but the support still means a lot.

I hope to be feeling more...

I haven't been doing well myself either. If you want to talk privately on AIM sometime I'd be happy to.

Well, 5 months, technicly. Also, I have only been in France for 3 of those months, I was in England before -- although that seems another life now.

Let me know if there is anything I can do to help, I've had some intesnse and long relationships in my short life. kiss

EDIT: I forgot to mention that White Cowbell Oklahoma is playing Toronto Dec. 14th. They put on the best live show I have ever seen. So....I hope the following people will be able to make it: keeponrawkin and oldschoolsoul because I have never met you and I know you like rockabilly, and suddenly_subtle because I promise you will enjoy yourself and I miss you.

I miss Toronto. A lot. I should come visit sometime. When classes aren't crazy and I have money. I could totally use doing some shopping, I have no winter clothing.

It seems as though I have an unwelcome lurker visiting here regularly. I can only speculate as to why - it has been over a year now since I last had anything to do with her.
I don't want to have anything to do with her ever again, and I'm sure she feels the same about me.
So from here on out I'll be members-only...

- Went to Nuit Blanche last night. It was interesting, but way busier than I thought it was going to be. I did a lot of walking. I'm glad I went, but I was also happy to get home and fall into bed.

- Frustrated with certain things job-wise, but I can't control everything, right?

- October is shaping up to be a busy month:...

I am excited as I have a solid idea for a backpiece that I need to sit on for a few months at least. I came across this artist: Rob Coutts, who seems to do exactly what I am looking for.
Check out his portfolio....the guy is amazing.

Work has been crazy. I have not been sleeping as well as I should - I...

Nope, I take Jazz and African Jazz. I also recently tried one class of ballet and one class of contact improv, though I don't usually take them.
I love the jazz and african jazz... both of my instructors are really excellent. Ballet is so pretty when I see it done professionally, but when I try it myself it's pretty, yet a bit tedious, and I just can't get into the rhythm of the music. The contact improv was really interesting; I'd never done anything like that before. The I can compare it to is movement warmups for acting classes, only different and for a whole hour and a half.
I also love contra dancing; I haven't been in ages but it's so fun!

jaybugg:
Well its just annoying to know someones has nothing better to do, and they cant take 5 minutes to say hi.

Then when I ignore them or just take em off buddy list they throw a hissy fit o.o
