I really like the design....kind of serpentine. I love how the knot seems to be almost melting.

And is it weird that I am mentally untangling it? I like that it is somewhat untangleable.....it's fun to play with.

is what i'm really aiming for, but it's kind of an inverse of my current design because it's really empty in the middle.

i like the tangliness too, i've been adding and removing bits to see if i can get closer to nothing in the middle, but still maintain the knot-iness. (i really don't want braids going down the blades, i want them to look sharp)

i have no idea how my tattoo artist is gonna convey the pastel colors...debating just getting it in black to make sure it doesn't wind up looking stupid
