I think it's actually much simpler to be single over the holidays. People are more stressed in general and there's just so much more potential for unnecessary emotional drama. It's best to just sleep through as much of it as possible.

Ah, the single life. When it rains, it pours.

I'm still in the process of learning what I need to find that balance between lonely and frustratingly un-alone. So far being here has rarely felt lonely, which is surprising to me but a relief.
