The mini-tour was amazing. I haven't played that good in a while. Especially with so much energy.

Austin and Denton were probably my favorite shows. The cutest girl on the tour was a girl from Denton. Not that it will turn into anything. But.....ayeee. Soooooo fucking cute.

Stupid back. It's just not getting better. I wish I had experience playing shows on pain killers. So I wouldn't have stand there like a statue. I guess I'll try some booze. Mmmmppphhhffff. It's going to be a painful tour.

Anyway. The new Andrew Bird is fantastic. As well is the new Anathallo.

I messed up my back this past thursday loading up the band trailer with gear. Hopefully it will heal enough before we head out on tour this friday. To enable quicker recovery I'm spending alot of time in bed. And Fallout 3 is really helping me stay immoble. Thirteen hours of game play on sunday. With only an hour break to watch Big Love.

weve all got our doubts my friend... what makes us who we are is how we deal with them.

New guitar upgrade! Lollar Alnico 3 bridge & neck pickups.

I got another interview for the local newspaper. They are doing a piece on local musicians guitars. It's kinda silly in my opinion. But hey, that's more free press for the band. Plus....I always have a great time talking specifications on guitars.

We go out on another small tour, soon. And while everyone is having...

I found this very interesting.

As for Linde, he is especially interested in the mystery of consciousness and has speculated that consciousness may be a fundamental component of the universe, much like space and time. He wonders whether the physical universe, its laws, and conscious observers might form an integrated whole. A complete description of reality, he says, could require all three of those components,...

its not that its "dead" its that it doesn't exist. Its a pretty old concept though... "If a tree falls in the woods, and no one is around to hear it..does it make a sound?"

This week, I say goodbye to my house. Considering all of my expenses, I just can't afford it anymore. I was caught up in an illusion. But I had a great four year run with the house. And it's time to simplify. I had too many distractions.

I'm hoping to rent out the house. But if I can sell it for 155k, I will sell...

a music area is all you need homie.

that's actually not a bad idea (metaphorically, of course.)

it's something i've considered. i just wish i could find some dolphin friends. they're hard to come by. everyone around me are land-walking humans and we don't speak the same language.

I beginning to be intolerant of all this glam/fashion/entertainment crap. And the worst part is alot of my female friends love it.

So, once again, I am going to be the asshole.

The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.

A big change is coming. Something unwanted but logical. And I'm ready. Because I know it will only make my life better. Even though, at first, I thought it would hinder me.

I'm a little scared. But, it's exciting.

Embrace change!

yay! do it!

Fun time show this weekend in San Antonio! I'm so excited about the line-up. Some of San Antonio's finest and the band I'm in. Plus it's the 29th birthday of the bass player from one of the bands. Which means....AFTER PARTY! Hopefully I'll have my drinky boots on considering I'm worn out from all the drinking over the holidays.

It's getting to the point where...

I really wasn't that impressed with Benjamin Button. It felt too....too...typical. Like I've seen it a hundred times before. The idea of the Benjamin character may have been creative, but the story line and dialogue seemed regurgitated.

way too long for the story told and nothing really developed outside of what you knew was going to happen...i didnt want him to overcome his "disability" but I did want the climax of the movie to be something outside of them finally being young at the same time....although I do LOVE love love Cate Blanchett

It seems like it's been a long time since a good movie came out. frown
