biggrin Very good. I should find out next week what's happening with the move and stuff so I'll let you know. Even so, I'll try and pop along for an hour at least.
fullmoonkisses:
I think you'll find that is a belt, rather than a skirt smile And it's good to see your "Freekmagnit" (TM - me) is still working strong and attracting all manner of arses. biggrin And that barmaid is pretty cute. More pics please! wink smile

The Damned & The Hopeless

So I thought I'd update you with the latest goings on at my delightful place of employment, 'cause I'm sure it's a source of constant amusement or disbelief or possibly both for some of you folks besides it's far more therapeutic than putting my fist through the wall and cheaper than replacing the plasterboard too wink . So current developments include...

Well I don't really know that many places in Leeds tbh, I've only been the once!! Could we say meet at the train station and then walk from there?

I can always put your mate in his place if he pisses me off, lol. xx
mistress_paine:
I'm not up by uni campus, i'm nearer to the trainstation. Technically I've gotta walk up, lol.

Shall we say 7 for a prelim time and I'll text Zeal and ask her about the 14th? smile xx

In search of the holy land.

So I spent what seemed like forever in Leeds today looking for the much revered Joseph's Well. The reason for my odyssey you ask well Harleen mentioned the "Out Of Spite" fest and whether I was going to check it out, in my quest for more details about said event I found out that Angelspit & Ayria are playing...

In Hindsight

So things went kind of wrong the other night regarding the proposed meet on Thursday, I had a feeling things might go a bit awry but I thought I might try the old "positive thinking" that everyone seems to go on about unfortunately it didn't make much difference. It dawned on me as soon as I got to the place and found out...

I'm sure there will be! Maybe not Leeds but you must be sure and join oneof the bigger meets. I've been to two and my social anxieties were appeased by how bloody nice everyone was. biggrin
I think your chosen night was just a bit difficult with it being a school night and all. frown
pixiebelle:
SGUK is a strange one in that way. Some meets get packed out and other fade away with but a fleeting interest. surreal Timing, location, person, reason all come into play in these things. Don't take it to heart though!

Hark friends tis the sound of rebound

So after coming out of a crippling 18 month relationship my friend Jay has hooked up with another girl within the space of 5 days! which is a pretty fast turn around in my opinion. My friend Jay is without doubt a manwhore in the very worst sense of the term, I haven't got a problem with that...

harleen:
Um... I think you can stumble through the door, as it's just a pub area at the front, and just pay at the band room if you want to see the bands.

This Feels Like Slavery......

So in yet another display of why the company I work for is so good and an "Investor In People" can't forget that bit, they've decided that they're not going to pay all the people who've done overtime at the overtime rate and they're just going to get paid the normal rate. This is just yet another of the brilliant moves...

Yeah, you do a pretty good job of complaining about work.

I enjoy it, and thank you for sticking with a crap job for our reading enjoyment.

biggrin

Thanks for the birthday wishes!

Heh heh...Investors In People...don't get me started! So how are things with you?

Don't Get In The Way Of The Black Lunged Hordes

With the new smoking ban kicking into effect last week my place of work was busy drawing up it's new policy regarding smoking and it went like this *clears throat*

Smoking will not be allowed anywhere within the premises due to the smoking ban coming into effect July 1, this means as of July 1...

Heh, trustworthy type! Well you could possibly show me where the elusive angel inn is before the end of the month, and I can then give you your pennies back, plus a beer or 2! biggrin

Are you a Monday-Friday worker? xx

I hate it when my head gets noisy that way.

I'm glad you had a good get-together with people. Even the second seemed to go alright.

But I know what you mean about pushing your luck. That's the way I think too. That maybe I should accept that I had a good evening, and not try again anytime soon, since surely that would be a disaster, just to even things out.

Thanks for the software tip. I downloaded the program, but haven't tried it yet. Next time I take some pictures and need to reduce them, I'll give it a go.
