I sat for my second session on the japanese quarter sleeve (as of this post, I will officially begin referring to it as a half sleeve. it grew). I sat for 6.5 hours, and it got to be quite painful by the end. We finished though, and I think it looks awesome. It'll take a day or two for me to get used to it,...

Thats definetly an amazing tattoo! I'm excited to get mine done on the 30th of August. It'll be my third tattoo. I'm super pumped! My comic did take a while but I tend to like detail alot. ;]

I get some more tattoo done on Friday the 13th. I'm so excited to get more, or maybe even finish it.

My job is royally fucked up. I can't believe how fast time passes when you are just looking forward to weekends. No wonder everyone grows old so fast. I don't know what to do about my future. I know I need to go back...

Not really sure of the best way to respond to your comment. I mean, should I respond on your blog? or post here? I imagine if I respond here, you will receive no notification, and thus you will never see my response. So I'll just try this and see what happens.

Cutting stuff up and determining cause of death sounds like a pretty good time. My sister used to work as an animal necropsy technician, and would sometimes bring me in to see her cutting heads in half, and dissecting 300 pound vietnamese potbellied pigs. Only once did the odors get the better of me and force me to sit down so that I wouldn't pass out. I also considered med school while I was in the midst of my bio. undergrad. degree, but I knew my work ethic wasn't up to par. It seems like my eternal struggle is deciding whether I could stand being inside of a laboratory everyday or not. sigh...

I'm really excited about the Bloc Party, I wish you the best of luck in getting to see them in Phoenix. Maybe I'll post some photos and whatnot from the concert if they allow me to bring my camera in...

It's funny you should say that about the tattoo...I originally was shooting for something that would mostly hide under a short-sleeve t-shirt, but I was kind of talked into going a bit longer. I'm totally happy with the decision, but it'll be interested to see if there are any sort of ramifications later in life. There's better not be.

P.S. Scrubs are hot. definitely one of the best reasons to go through hard-ass medical school.

Ha ha you click on my profile, and respond there under my blog, like I did to yours.

And you are the only man alive that thinks scrubs are hot!!!

I have committed completely. I have 5 hours of a japanese sleeve on me now. It is amazing looking. It is my first tattoo. The outline didn't hurt. The shading and coloring did. It feels like a mild sunburn the day after. My parents are mildly to moderately supportive. The artist is Tony Morrell at Jinx Proof Tattoo in Georgetown (Washington, D.C.). He is super...

It looks awesome so far! Love the picture here and in the tattoo group. I've wanted a Japanese 1/4 sleeve forever, but am too much of a puss to get it. Many congratulations (and a little jealousy!)!!!!!

Holy balls, that's awesome that someone actually looked at my profile. Many thanks to you! I say go for the quarter sleeve. I was also a real puss for 4 or 5 years, and then all of the sudden...out of nowhere...I was on the phone, making an appointment for some huge ink (after 3 or 4 shots of whiskey). It all went off without a hitch though, and was way easier and more comfortable that I thought it was going to be. Mind you, I was only drinking during the appointment making process...I was quite sober for everything else. The outline was way easy, but by the time he got to the shading, it hurt like hell. More shading on Friday the 13th...wish me luck!

I have committed almost completely to a quarter sleeve tattoo. I've been to see the artist and talk about the design (taiwanese/japanese quarter sleeve made mostly of black and grey waves with a red sun setting at the top), I've deposited 50 bucks, made an appointment for the first sitting, and even told my parents about it. My dad is not into it, but didn't...
