I'm of very mixed feelings about this election. It's wonderful that Obama won. I think he'll make a fine president and between that and additional Democrats in the Senate, I think the country has an opportunity to get back onto the right track in terms of things like the economy and foreign policy. Qwest tech came by around noon. 5 minutes later I was on my new DSL service, and cancelled the previous one. And hey, it's nice and fast. Too bad I didn't have it a week ago.

Damn I'm green with envy, I just found a new job after about 3 months of hunting. My last job was for a freelance prop shop and they haven't had a decent sized job since I left, my new job is tig welding at a stainless shop but since steel prices are rising and the work is going over seas I'm not sure how stable it is, plus it isn't half as fun or interesting as the prop place.
But hey, I've been able to focus on my new puppy and TF2, The Force Unleashed, Bioshock, GTA4, and WipeOut HD aren't going to play themselves. Another bonus is that both me and Mirabell are going to be making a fair bit more at our new posts. So I guess hurray for now?

The hardware's meant to arrive on Monday, and the service is meant to be up by 5 pm. Whether this will actually be so (it is Qwest, after all), who can say? Total price per month is not 100%...
