So today was a particularly exciting one, scientists announced a new species of human ancestor that was discovered in Maropeng. I waited all morning to catch the broadcast live and it was entirely fascinating. They have named this species Homo Naledi (Naledi after the cave it was found in, meaning 'rising star' in Sesotho. To sum up this discovery, it has human like bone structure, a brain the size of an apple but the emotional intelligence to separate itself from nature and bury it's dead. The exact dates are unknown but you can read more about it here. I love @missy and @rambo 's homework but it's nice to share other things too. Sometimes science is just wow.
Speaking of Science, I have been accepted into a BSC Zoology for 2016. I'm still in a state of disbelief but here's to changing your life <3
