Today is my birthday and I feel really happy. Even at 5:30 am when I was driving Dad to work, I felt happy about life. I'm ok and life is ok. I'm 28 and the world is a good place as long as I believe it is a good place.

I am scared of the future and haunted by my financial situation.

Today, Olive's remains came home to me. I feel a great sadness and a relief at the same time. She's living in a sparkly on my desk nowadays. She will stay there until Kingston, where she'll get the sunny wondowsill.
