Ok...surgery wounds all healed up, and I can move my knee again. Fucking spectacular. That's what happens when you don't have so much as a sniffle for thirteen or so years...everything falls apart all at once. It's cool..the rather long convolescence lowered my stress a bit and, for the most part, got rid of my insomnia.

Suggest to me something to read. I'm about to...

So imagine, if you would, the ultimate piece of performance art. It's got everything...depth, humor, off the wall creativity. Now multiply that by ten million. Would it's execution be worth the extinction of the human species?

My best friend is moving back to our hometown. That presents a problem for me. That place is a real drain on the soul, but it's always difficult for both of us when we're apart...we have an unussually strong bond. Everyone's trying to convince me to come back, and I'm torn. I've considered going back for a year, for the sake of saving up some...

It's cool, dude. You could go back and save some money because you know you won't be able to stay for long. I think that Cirque du Soleil thing sounds pretty fucking cool, if you ask me, but its your life, my friend! smile

I was raised Catholic, and by eleven years old, I was calling Bullshit. I failed religion three years in a row, for my refusal to accept the crap they were feeding me. I had the remarkable ability to be a smartass, even at that age, and it wasn't popular with the powers that were. In the sixth grade, they told my parents I had ADD,...

A few months after my Grandpa died, I had a dream with him in it. This is important, because I never remember my dreams. And if I do it's like, "umm..I had sex with someone in my dream." or, "Hey Ry, you were in my dream last night."

So in this dream my Grandpa said, "Don't worry about anything. WE are God, collectively. It will all make sense some day."

I had a similar realization when we did mushrooms.

I do not practice a "religion", but I do consider myself a very spiritual person. one of the reasons why I am an environmental studies major is because of the influence I take from the natural world in my day to day life.

That's awesome that the lab told your mom top get you out of that school. Chalk up a win for the good guys. biggrin

Tonight I have managed to sit in front of the comp and post enough to come down from a dangerously out of control drunken state. WOOT! I think now I'm going out for a burrito. Thanks for all the good times Saturday, SGCO kids!

I'm so very close to hooking up with the lady I've been after for a few months now...fuckin' thrilling! Mac and...

Thanks for all the happy birthdays! You guys and gals rock. biggrin

I'm back from the South. The trip was relaxing, and pleasantly dull. I saw most of the people I wanted to see, and further cemented the fact that I'll never live there again. Christmas night, I woke up with an intolerable pain in my side. I thought I had gas or something for a...

So tired today. Several of us spent last night running around in the steam tunnels under CU in search of ice cream a guacamole. No luck finding food, though we did find a grate that went directly into the astrophysics building.

I'm not entirely sure how we ended up down there. One minute we're playing team trivia at Connor O'Neils, the next searching for unlocked...

I think I'm currently in one of those periodic limbos I drift into; the events, and my thoughts from the last one or two years coalesce into a coherent picture, and I'm able to take what I've learned and assimilate it into my experience. My failings also seem to beat themselves into my head at these times, but that appears to be getting less disheartening...

I always find the internet to be a good way to waste time. Let me tell you a little story about that: it all started in a small house wy back in 1983 when...no wait...ive got work to do. Cant waste time, too much to do.

Home again. I got back into Denver around nine last night, and realized my phone was not in my bag. Irritating. I was in Virginia for my mom's wedding, and my friend's birthday party/riot. The wedding was awesome...a perfect day outside in the botanical gardens in Richmond.

It struck me, as the wedding was concluding, that I now have all this new family. The funny...
