That is terrible! However it is a good thing to know that your countrymen will give what they can to help the others out, great example of humanity doing what it should. I hope it works out soon for the people that are out of their homes! You and yours are in my thoughts for sure.
So the interview with Mr. Bank Manager / Loan Guy didn't go as well as hoped. Not that I was expecting any better, mind you. Any plans for building/buying a new home have been put on hold however the positive side of this is that we can now start putting some funds into renovating and decorating our current place. Yay!

It is 10pm on Jan. 1st here, got home this morning around 3am from a friend's BBQ which was lovely and relaxed.
