I'm so glad tax season is over and work has calmed down. Well, really, work hasn't calmed down, but my desire to be a work-a-holic has calmed down. Jason and I go to New Orleans for my "company meeting" the week after next. I'm super psyched about that. I can't even remember the last time I had actual vacation that wasn't to go visit family. I was always terrified that I'd go somewhere fun and my Dad would die while I was there and I'd feel awful that I went somewhere other than to visit him. No fear of that anymore.
This weekend I get to spend most of my time in the yard. It's taking a lot of work to get this yard into shape. But I'm motivated. I plan to get my garden in this weekend, so in a few weeks we should be able to pull entire salads out of the back yard. That rocks the most. Now we need to find a timer to put on the hoses so that everything doesn't die while we're on vacation . . .
I'm anxious for Jason to get home. I miss him horribly when he's not here. My time is sadly goatee/sideburn deficient. Boo.

I went home and put fruit in all of my water. Your suggestion was definitely the best outcome of a Saturday night in a long time.
