It's student loan disbursement time. Which means credit cards get paid, and I go "yardsaling".

I just picked up a sweet little 2003 sony digicam for cheap on ebay - just old enough to still have "negative art", and new enough to capture video. My saturday night/ sunday morning of reading reviews (hopefully) paid off.

At long last, might I write a photo journal entry?...

Did you know that the president of Chile is _not_ male? I'm guessing she's not white either, but what would i know...

I'm a water geek and so I feel pretty strongly about the following. I tell myself that writing letters _must_ make a difference, whether today or later, just so long as one says what one needs to say. So here it is: A...

Oh, the monsoons -- what summer rains we've had! My backyard gage says 1 and 1/2 inches just today. The amaranth is going wild, lush pyramid-plants of green that rise from the once-dust-now-mud, seemingly overnight. The lightning too. We sit and watch the storms coming from miles and miles away, barbs of white flashing silently through the sky until, suddenly, its upon us.

Rumor is...

he he. now how is it you're just now ordering seeds? isn't it a bit late for that stuff? i don't do the gardening around here - that's my fiance's hobby. i wish i did, but i just can't get past having to cut worms in half and disturbing all those creatures who love the dark so much. how sad is that? i have a brown thumb anyway.

the photo of the dandelions was only slightly photoshopped to enhance the contrast a tad. but just a tad. they really were glowing like that. i can't remember - i think it was a nearby parking lot light that was doing it.

Due to the fact that your comment jumped topics really qick, I went to the link and thought you were sending me to a sperm bank. I had forgotten about my comment. Thank you though. I'll look into it when I get my domestic wind back.

i'm living off beer for the summer.

just barely hungry until sunset, eating toast and tea, coffee and french fries. it sounds worse than it is: they're good fries - with tons of veganiase (of course), good toast , with butter and honey and maybe tahini. but compared to the winter, i eat like a bird and drag myself listlessly around like a slug until...

My Three Point Essay:
---
New website == wierd.
Not bad, but...

Unexpected change sucks more than change. The sun goes up, the sun goes down... well, it actually stays put, more or less, and I spin in cicles, but that's not the point.

The point is that I know what to expect, more or less out of this whole sun-earth-moon fiasco.

People are so...

Yeah, I've found the new site design slitely unsettling, but I am sure in no time at all, I'll have forgotten how easy it was to have most everything one click away instead of two or three.

You aren't writing papers about Vim/Emacs or LaTex are you? How absurd would that be, huh.

What sort of router do you have that gave you such fits you had to resort to telneting into it to fix it?

I can do the math and I know enough about football to know the us hasn't got a chance in anything to win.

life, huh.

pastura:
you know, i couldn't understand half of that entry because a lot of it was in a language i don't speak - namely one that has anything to do with computers. so i'll simply give you a nod on the "people being messy" part and the "unexpected change sucks more than change" part. that was insightful even in its obviousness.

Mmmmmm, I miss being in love...

I've been the floating, conversationally promiscuous lately.
It seems like everyone is in this mood lately, everyone's about to leave on a long trip or just passing throu, looking for trouble.

I spent the evening with a different someone that I really dig. I got her sick, I do believe, last weekend when we took fungi and made out,...

I'm a big dork, a Rob Brezny/Free Will Astrology fan, and generally bonkers for Truth and Beauty.

Below are links to satellite images of Earth's Water that I just picked out from maps.google.com. They're True in that they're real, and they're beautiful to me in the shapes, the almost anumate spirit visible within each, a vibrancy of transformation.

We're in the 6th (i think) global...
