Blargh, since we've been taking the initiative to get more active and healthy in our household (and in our entire church as well) there have been quite a few trips to the Y lately. Not to mention that it's got me back into the groove of wanting to go for jogs randomly and more yoga. This should be a good thing, but I'm so damn sore from it all! And of course, because it's volleyball season in our church league, and I've moved to overhand serving, my shoulder has been a real mess lately.
So! I feel a lot better, have a lot more energy (for the most part), and I'm really excited about everyone around me joining in. If only my body would stop aching from all the pushing I've had to do- ellipticals are officially Devil Machines, and push-ups are the bane of my existence.
Someday I will gain victory over both, but until then my old lady body and I will suffer for some time.
In conclusion, I will have one rocking bod by the time I have to run the Chicago Marathon in October, but I'm hoping to have my bikini body before summer. Also, my ass is going to look fan-f*cking-tastic by then.
