It is making me sad going through and deleting all my blogs.

They were my journal, my diary.

I am remembering memories. And I wish that this site hadn't made all blogs public so I could have kept them.

I know I could copy and paste but that would take forever.

:( :( :(

OH right there also are no emoticons anymore.

Yeah, this new site is beyond a train wreck.

Yeah, I'm going to sit down this or next weekend and just exercise my copy and paste muscles.  I'm almost shocked that there isn't some well-devised HTML flush button to capture my life here since 2003.  If there is one bright side, I was photodocumentarian for SGCT and really saved none of those photos.  I'm happy to go back, collect them and now embarrass folks on FB.  :)

Everything on this site is now public and it is being indexed by Google. So - I guess I need to change my name and delete all my pictures.

Hey at least I will help with the website metrics - I can see it now in HQ - dude look time on site went up 20% - yeah that's cause everyone is deleting all their...

Welcome to the new SG folks. Let's see if the community survives this change.

ETA: So basically I had withdrawls from SG all weekend, I wished I could have vented in my groups. But 10 minutes into the new site and I would prefer not to be on the site.

SG has nothing to worry about though - with my demise 3 young hipsters with...

Lol how do I find my people

Whoa.
I ton of folks that I friended back in 2005 and then lapsed just showed up as renewed.
I am guessing SG is trying to get people back with the new site launching through gifted subscriptions.
Like literally 15 people on my feed that just renewed.
And I know some of them don't even use the same email address anymore.

The first thing I saw when I logged on to My SG was someone's account has activated, so I posted a short "Hi" note before realizing that the top 30 things in the feed were old members' accounts being activated. It was boggling.
bukkakeg0d:
I don't remember the last time i actually paid for the account.

Well - summer seems to have ended quickly.
Pumpkin beer is in the store and it was 50 degrees this morning!

For real, what are other good community sites?
I know fetlife, but what else is out there?
I am just super curious.
Where else do people congregate?
I only know of SG, Twitter and FB (well besides the Fetlife above).
What else is there.

For some reason when I get stressed I talk to myself.
Like basically talk myself down.
This normally happens when I interact with someone I don't know well.

Which is fine.............so long as I am really by myself smile

I can't be the only one who talks to themselves though!

Yeah, I do it all the time. Sometimes I forget I'm not always alone when I do, that gets embarrassing from time to time...
tattooedbuddhist:
I do it regularly when I'm alone, in an inaudible whisper.

Ridiculously random blog.

I have only lost two pounds after working out for a month. But I feel stronger.
I think it is in my head but I dont care.

I have begun epliating all my hair.
It hurts like hell - especially the first time. I basically took a vicodine and went to town on legs, arm pits and bikini area. It was worth...

I truly cannot wait until the election is over.
I appreciate that we live in a free society that can express ourselves, and to be truthful I blame social media.
I have always had differing views than some friends and family and it was never a problem, since we all know most of the time one doesn't talk about religion or politics in a social...

Politics and religion divide people so damn badly
orionid:
This is why I vowed not to talk politics on social media until some point after the election. Some of the stuff that's floated through my stream has made it difficult to stick to that, but so far I've managed.

I am desperately trying to plan a last minute 4 or 5 day beach getaway.
So far I have looked at Bermuda (it is supposed to rain for like the next 10 days), Bahamas, West Coast of Florida (but don't know where to go there yet), Puerto Rico, and even Alabama (where they supposedly have amazing beaches).

Any thoughts or suggestions? Looking to leave in...

Good call, datsun. I didn't even think about Hawai'i. If it's in your budget, I used to live on Oahu and can give you some great pointers.

Just read your post in CSA group. frown I am so, so, so fucking sorry. I wish that the world could lay the fuck off and go easy on you. Stay strong, my friend.

Holy moley...........storage units are expensive.
If I ever come into money I am buying land and building storage units. Holy cow.

PS.
Work sucks......
getting calls is awesome.........
I worry about life changing so much so fast.........
But that is what life is about.......................................right?
blackheartdown:
Haha, I spend over $600 a year on a 4 x10 unit storing some of my moms stuff, that truthfully should really just be thrown away.
Change can be great... if you have a chance to breath.

I am happy I wrote that last post.
I keep going back to everytime I get scared about change.
Oh how I dream about a commute that is under 40 miles one way.
To not but over 3K miles on my car every month. Its not just the time savings, but the mileage.
I didn't think driving 114 miles each day would be so exhausting,...
