Growing up an only child, I don't even think twice about going places alone most times. I imagine a concert would be a little daunting though. Glad you did it and had a great time.

I know the feeling well. What is bringing on this exhaustion?

It's a little gray today with some drizzle but other than that it's has been glorious. I'm working today anyway so no worries. And yes, everyone has been on their best behavior. All of that sunshine has a way of taming even the thorniest dispositions around here.

Like you, I am sometimes baffled by those who seem immune to the sort of self examination and assessment that most of us undergo on a fairly regular basis. Were these individuals stellar humans of unparalleled talents I'd be happy that they held themselves in such high regard, but it's usually quite the opposite. It's as if they were born without the embarrassment gene...whereas the one's with talent end up beating themselves up mercilessly. It's frustrating as hell when you're forced to interact politely with these types either socially or professionally instead of shoving their heads down a toilet like you wish you could.
