Hi Kassidy -- This story is really sad. http://www.kake.com/home/headlines/35493179.html# I'm not sure if you are anywhere near this county (?)... and know of any individuals/rescue groups that can help, but it looks like authorities are willing to give these dogs a chance. (Unlike TX where 190 were euthanized despite offers from help from rescues.) It's my understanding that this county does not have a shelter, so I'm not exactly sure where the dogs are being housed.... huge sigh.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed and my pittie's paws crossed...

well, all of the dogs have been taken care of now. the most adoptable/healthy have been placed with rescue and the rest (alot) were put to sleep. the physical conditions the dogs were kept in were worse than the few media pictures depicted. an absolute hellhole. best friends is driving about 6 dogs to CA to be placed in foster care.

on to better topics, i like your shot recipe, very festive!

my favorite kahula drink is: get a frosty mug & fill it with

ice
1/3 kahlua
1/3 vodka
1/3 coke and
top it with cream.
mix

it's like the best tasting chocolate milkshake, ever. i can only drink one before things get a little crazy.

EXCITING NEW UPDATE IN THE WORLD OF ........... ME!!!!!!!
So I figured out my Halloween costume, but no telling - yet! Oh but it's going to be fun!!! Well, more soon - gotta get to bed so maybe I won't miss class tomorrow!

So ... Halloween ... I have NO IDEA what I want to be! I need some ideas - nothing boring or too common or too expensive (broke college kid here has a budget) ... So can anyone help me? It would be most appreciated! I want something sexy and fun, possibly with couple potential ... thanks!!!

Ugh what a week! Three tests and a paper due (on top of mountains of homework that I'm realizing is the norm around here) But I'm finally done! So tailgating tomorrow because I'm too poor to go to the game, but I'm still excited!

So it is FINALLY the weekend and I'm SUPER STOKED!!! And Josh comes in from out of town tonight, so we're gonna party balls! YAY!!!
