The good... the bad.. no just kidding it's all good this time!!!

So, I had my surgery and am now down one ovary. It's been a long recovery so far, the estimated time for my recovery was 6-8 weeks. I'm on week 4 and I'm starting to be able to go about every day activities without painmeds! this is a massive improvement as for a little bit even getting up to go to the ladies room was torture! I feel great!
The "tumor" turned out to be a softball sized infectious abbess. They still have no idea how I got it, and I have to admit not knowing how I got it and knowing they didn't even find it for almost a year is turning me into a bit of a hypochondriac. How will they know if I get it again....
I'm a little nervous about a few things my surgeon said about potential Chronic Hip Pain. and I'm less nervous about the one ovary children consequences because to be honest I don't see myself ever wanting children. but get used to me randomly tagging things with #lonelyleftovary. haha.

This is by far the most exciting news..
I GOT A JOB!
(and its a really good one)
I now work as a Graphic Designer for a really high end real-estate agency. They just sold Tom Brady's Boston apartment for 9.7 million. ;]
I'm super excited about the position to be honest, they're paying me more then I asked for which may not be tons for some but great for a starting graphic designer! and there is already talk about evaluating for raises. The team seems sooo great and I can't wait to start! (I'm not starting till September 9th due to recovery)
Future
SPOILERS! (Click to view)
I'm hoping that with my new job I can get a cute little flat with a roommate in the Allston area of Boston preferably in the Coolidge Corner or Packards Corner area. I'm hoping to do this in November. I need to not get too excited about buying things for my new flat till I can actually afford the new flat. ;]
I'm really excited about starting a career in graphic design and feel with this company I have tons of opportunities to grow and expand, I feel for the first time in my life I'm starting a real future. College life can be so depressing and soul crushing. I love studying and I love learning but it's so nice to know that I'm now a grown up! (well maybe renting a flat is not quite grown up, specially with a roommate but my real life has started!)
