i was so excited to have a 3 day weekend. friday marked 7 years that i'd been with my company and so my boss let me go home early. so i decided to go to the salon and get my hair done. i went in, spent about 2 hours and came out with fabulous hair, minus the car that i'd arrived in.

today i had jury duty. i got myself to the courthouse downtown at the un-godly hour of 7am. sat for about 3 hours trying not to fall asleep because the guy across from me had fallen asleep and was snoring. i'm too self-concious to sleep in public. anyhoo. they called my name and told me that i'd been transferred to the east la courthouse. grrr....

ingredients:
one box of chocolate cake mix
one diet coke

mix in fancy tupperware container and nuke for 7 minutes.

i'm in hawaii visiting my momma. it's been a lovely 9 days, but i have to get back to reality tomorrow.
it's rained practically every day since i got here.

thursday, i got hypnotized to quit smoking.

today, i'm going to the aloha bowl flea market.
