Buenos Fucking Aires!

It was a great show and the band loved the crowd. BA audiences really go crazy! And the band's playing and mixing was some of the best I've heard them do. No tech problems and everything worked (almost) perfectly (that's what we tech people always hope for!) The crowd was giving us "football songs" at the end of the show, and from...

Prostitution in Copacabana is not legal... is just the main industry (after Hotels).
The police actually is protecting you from street violence and robery.

Copacaban is awesome (just be carefull, some times "she" is not actually "she"... is "he", .. and they have surgery.
Sometimes the only way to figure it out is by their voices. That's it.
tongue.. (I hope is not too late) tongue

Prostitution is legal in Brazil as far as I know.

As you can see the girls are anxious about the concert. Drop me a line as soon as you have any info!

After a boring flight and three hours in customs, I've arrived in Rio, and it's gorgeous!

Our hotel is on the Copacabana, the sun is shining, and the view is... lovely wink

Now, the probelm we have to deal with is that the band's equipment is still being held by Brasilian customs. It seems our merchendise seller didn't file the right paperwork, so not only are...

Argh! Time for another blog post, I guess...

Since I've been back in the San Francisco Bay, I've been working the Greek Theatre in Berkeley. We had Massive Attack play there right after I returned -- I like their records but their show was... so-so. And over the weekend we had Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers -- not my favorites, really, but the show was...

I suppose it's about time I made another post...

It's "indian summer" time in the Bay Area, and it's been hot! (Well, hot for this part of the world, anyway.)

Pretty quiet otherwise - re-adjusting to life in a single time-zone. I spent some of my hard-earned gig money on buying a guitar. I used to play a long time ago, when I was a...

That's right, I'm back!

(See the last blog entry for questions and answers...)

I've uploaded some more Daft Punk pics taken in Warsaw.

Flying back to the States through Heathrow airport on 9/11 was interesting. I got searched three times: once in the US as I was leaving (on the 7th, actually), once in Poland, once in the UK security portal, and again in US...

Off I go tomorrow... to Warsaw, Poland!

It turned out the "European bug" I came home with was a touch of pneumonia! But the antibiotics have fixed me up nicely (I hope).

Alas, there are no Suicide Girls in Poland...*sigh*

Once again I have to fly through fookin' Heathrow airport. Gods, I hate that place. It takes an hour to get through the security check,...

jmaxx:
I'm back! And I'm alive!

Poland is...interesting. Warsaw has the look and feel of an old Chicago, but with the baroque "Old Town" which is much like Germany. See the next blog entry...
