Today is company lunch for the holiday. We're going to Gulliver's by John Wayne Airport. I got home at 8 or so and started looking again. I thought i could hear a "mew" in the air, and after Jim took all the dogs in, i could hear her! I looked over my neighbor's fence and she was sitting in a ditch.
