So last saturday I woke up with a rash on my side, but being me, diddnt go in to see the doctor untill today (well yestarday since its almost 3am now). Turns out, that Ive got shingles. Isnt that fun. I always thought that was somthing that only old people got.
My doctor did say that she had seen quite a few younger people come in with it over the past month. I ended up having to pay $120 for pills plus some $10 for some polysporin since my schools drug plan seems to cover absolutly nothing (smart of me not to opt out wasnt it). Those were the cheap ones too. The last time I tried to use the plan they wouldnt cover the $30 for a creme either.
The virus itself is kind of strange. It feels like im getting shocked by a small current. Like say trying to strip a live wire with you teeth, which ive done before,(only running off of a 9V battery, hey it was quicker than disconnecting it first). So it doesnt hurt, but it is a bit of a wierd tingeling sensation. The good side is, it should be better within a week or two.
Well im going to bed. G'night.
