Holy shit! I just reallized I hadn't told anybody about ACL! That's the Austin City Limits music festival, folks. Saw The Shins, Secret Machines, The Raconteurs, and Massive Attack. I love me some Massive Attack, but The Raconteurs were the ones to beat. Fuck, they ruled.

i just saw "a scanner darkly". i'd already read the book and the screenplay, so i guess the only real surprise was just how close the flick stuck to the source material, and i'm not complaining. a friend of mine was one of the lead animators, and it was neat to see his name all big on the screen.
