it's now dangerously hot. yay. god really loves mn lately...
my nose itches. i'm looking for a job. blah.
are sheep friendly? i think i want to be a sheep farmer in some lush green mountainous area with nice weather... and have a bunch of awesome dogs and just lay around with my shepherd's crook drinking whiskey.
but i'd miss live music, internets, and miscellaneous such things naught to be found in the hills...
anyone going to see aesop rock tomorrow? i am trying to win tix from radio k(college radio station, u of mn) cuz i am broke. it's a bad time to be broke, there are lots of good shows coming up! STNNNG is playing tonite with some other bands i have been wanting to see at the Turf Club in St. Paul. That should be cheap so I might make it out there. I don't drive neither though, whcih means bussing out there, which is fine, however, i need to make sure i am back to dt minneapolis for the last bus to my neighborhood at 2ish otherwise i walk home from dt.
um... i missed sleater-kinney. that made me kinda sad. and missed the soviettes and doomtree and some others last weekend... argh...
the last show i went to, if memory serves, was an anomaly but was a really really fun awesome show- vnv nation at the fine line. fine line. Clear Channel. eek. I try to avoid the corporately booked shows in favor of our lovely independently owned venues such as First Avenue/Entry and the Triple Rock.... but it was a great show. I might be making another exception for the Epoxies nxt month... if'n I've got the dough to have a choice.
Violent Femmes coming soon, I really want to make that one.
and a crusty punk band, Fleas and Lice, at the Triple Rock.
Yep, need to find that job. and make sure it's a day job. so I can go to shows at night and afford the drinks at 'em.
Please forgive any typos, my roommate has her 'puter/internet set up at some strange ass resolution which is making the text here super tiny... ack.
yep, life is hell.
have nice thursday everyone.
oh Drinking with Ian, Entry, Sunday, Free shots!!

Hm... haven't tried that stuff. I'm a fan of Jameson myself.
