The floor behind the couch is. . . hard. Stained concrete. There's an exercise machine there at the moment also. Fortunately, the air conditioning/heating seems to be a normal system and not the Cabrini 3000 Project Heater that was in my room in Portland. There are also towel racks a-plenty.
