I've just read your kind words in the pregnancy group and wanted to say a massive thank you to you sweetheart. It means a lot.

The days are getting easier but obviously it's going to take a hell of a long time before it stops hurting quite so much.

I hope you get back on here very soon and are well and happy in the meantime.

xx
lil_em:
Thank you sweetheart. Same to you; I'm on here most days if you wanna chat?

I have this overall feeling of disappointment. Nobody has really done anything wrong, so I guess I must be disappointed with myself. Pathetic but true.

My washing machine has broken....again, and what do the kids do? Decide to tidy there rooms and adorn the landing in washing. Brilliant timing.

My feet are cold and I have a blinding headache......and as my dad would now say,...

Hi guys....

Back from holiday, it was okay, nothing exciting happened although the weather was great until Friday, which of course was the one day I wanted it to be good as the children were going riding....bloody typical. I'll upload some pics when I get some time.

If I'm short or abrupt to you in the next little while, I apologise in advance. I haven't...

Aww good to hear from you hon! And good luck quitting the ciggies! biggrin
mentalrage:
Good luck with the quitting smoking thing. smile At least it means you won't be stuck outside like a lemon when your mates are warm and cosy in the pub. I've got a week off soon and have absolutely nothing planned, I was trying to organise some night out with a load of people from work but I get the impression that nobody really gives a toss. whatever

Sorry for not being about much recently. The children have had so much on, involving me being Taxi driver and being very bored on occasions. I really like them to have lots of activites, between them they have, Dancing, Trampolining, Football, Swimming, Cricket and Gymnastics plus all the school sports and drama activities. Sometimes it does wear me down and at the moment, I'm quite...

Oh god, I'm terrified about this weekend away. So many people I don't know and I know I'm going to be so out of place.

Wish me luck.

yeah it was lovely meeting you too! the saturday night was a bit too big for me!! but the friday was wonderful!!

See, my memory of dancing is only hazy at best. Which is mildly concerning, photos would help my memory, but I'm not entirely sure if that's a good thing. Unless it was indeed the octopus, which is an absolute pleasure to behold. shocked

But it was a great meet all round, it surprised even me that I was able to keep it together. But, meets are like tattoos, when you have one, you'll start thinking about the others that you want to go to! biggrin

hi, thanks so much for your support, i have a great group of friends, i'm so lucky.

Hey there!

Long time, no talk. My fault entirely. I've been going through a more-depressed-than-usual period the last few months and have been avoiding even the things I like, like this place.

I'm trying to dig myself out of the hole now though.

I've read your last few entries, and I'm glad you didn't delete me as a friend.

I've thought about getting one of those lights for SAD. Not that I have SAD, but I know I don't get enough light and I figure it can't hurt.

You'll be dancing to Tainted Love? I hope someone records that and you can post it.

sorry guys, my last entry was a stupid one, i'm really sorry. but i guess i'd better explain a little.

my depression kicks in big time at this end of the year. i have issues at this time that i don't handle very well. i seem to spiral down and am unable to control it. i've tried fighting it, believe me i have, but the...

That's the funny thing about friends... they don't suddenly abandon you when you're down. smile You're not a fuck-up, far from it. I have ample case studies at hand from personal experience and I can tell you exactly what a fuck-up is; and you ain't it, sister. smile biggrin

If anything, letting people know what you're going through endears you to people - it's difficult to find someone with openness and honesty in this world. I don't know a single person who hasn't got problems - and if I meet someone who says they have none, I know I'm talking to a liar.

As Oscar Wilde once said, "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the hot naked chicks on SG."

Well, he would've put it like that if he were alive today! biggrin

I won't go anywhere. I have similar depression issues and know how hard it is to share that with others and how some people turn away because of it. There are many people here who love you and have no intention of leaving because a friend has rough patches.

I think I may have something like SAD as well. My depressed moods and mood swings have been unusually frequent lately.
