Off to NY in the AM. Finally get to put my Grandma to rest. It will be some closure. Then racing a BMW on Saturday. Kind of nervous. But I need to blow off some steam in a big way. Lots of BS at the day job and labels folding. Make the Mastering market tight. Love life tensions. Distance and a depth fo feeling i...

So now I am a proud owner of a mac. Macbook Pro to be exact. So it is kind of a change but I need it to do recording on and some video editing for a web blog.

Off to Portland this weekend to visit the perdy girl. I am hoping long term this works. It is a good fit. She is pretty incredible. So...

I survived the Suburban Home 14th Anniversary shows, some great great music was had. Good friends came in from all over the country and drank ate and smoked out like loons.

Definitely needed.

But it is back to the normal again. Semi at least. Still miss a pretty girl up in Portland town.

Also if anybody wants to see a really fucked up movie, watch...

Whew did an 8 mile hike up and down a mountain today. I can say the ole fat ass is in better shape than I thought. That is good. I am finding that walking and hiking and riding is helping me deal with the ache of distance and just plain old missing someone.

That will be remedied soon. 2 weeks and change I am heading...

I was wondering how you've been doing. Those long hikes feel great, don't they? I returned to Germany today and have to face reality myself. No more gorging on sushi, seafood and beer...

Drag the River-Live at the Starlight Free, go and get it. I can say it is one of my favorite albums of all time. "Hybrid Moments" is worth the download alone.

So I got me a camera. A Nikon D60. With a bunch of HD Attachments and lenses, tripod and batteries, good memory card, etc, etc. I am going to see what I can...

So as of 945 tonight she passed on quietly. The way I hoped it would. Now onto the family fun tomorrow. Some kind of service and one long vacation for me. Boss in CO says it is ok. Thailand is looking nice right now. Maybe Moab, somewhere the world can go away for a bit. I need to recharge the old batteries.

In older more...

So I am in NY. Waiting for my Grandma to die. She has had no food or water in 10 days and is still chugging along on a morphine drip. SHe has a living will that states that she is not to be kept alive by artificial means. The morphine is to ease the passing and pain from dehydration and hunger. She is 98. It...

Hotter than a sumbitch in my apt when i got home today. I think food can cook itself. To quote Robin Williams in Good Morning Viet Nam as Walter Cronkite " It is hotter than a snake's ass in a wagon rut".

Underground Music Showcase this weekend, should be fun. I have been off the map a bit so I can wander about and see...

I've had... mixed results with OK Cupid: a couple of fuckbuddy-type relationships that ran their course and ended amicably after a year or so, and a whole lot of winks from these simple corn fed Okie women with numerous offspring and an undying love of Oklahoma football, Jesus Christ and NASCAR. (shudders)

But that's Oklahoma for you...
