My 1st hike was 6 miles with 864 ft in elevation gain. I wasn't quite done so I just drove until I found Independence Mtn. Beautiful hike with great views, but damn it was hard. It was only 2.3 miles but with a gain of 748 ft. It was near vertical all the way with only 2 switch backs. Almost forgot to mention, there was a geochace at the top of Independence. Can't wait to do more!

None, I get my carbs...
