Being two years older than everyone else can suck- my sister has been in that position before and we both suffer from anxiety issues.
I think if anxiety is a factor in your life, you need to do what you can to relax and motivate yourself- this includes ditching the job you hate- and embracing things that make you happy- like playing basketball. Even if you simply stand on your driveway and shoot at the hoop instead of doing complicated layouts and the like- ease back into it.
Asfor high school- I know many people who have spent a longer period of time in high school- trust me, when you get to college, none of that even matters because there are so many different groups and ages of people- I find with college even more than a university. Age does not matter- it's what you get out of the experience.

Being sick sucks. I had to leave work early on friday because I was sick. (Although it was kinda self inflicted... I went to the dentist for fillings Thursday, so Friday my jaw was aching and I was starting to get a migraine so i took two T3s which threw my stomach into chaos.)
