Der... Testimonial! Thank you! blush

I wish I knew what the heck I was doing this summer, but so far it looks like it won't involve Denmark, unfortunately. I trust you to take lots of pictures, though.

You sound busy but good. Yay. kiss
poppystrike:
Aw thank you sweetie. I'm ok. Are you coming out on Saturday? smile.

I knew you meant Gertrude Stein, silly bean. I was just goofin' about.

This entry was all kinds of good to read. I'm glad for you, it's about time that it all started going thumbs up rather than thumbs down. Keep up the good work. smile

P.S.: songs, goddamit! songs! *attempts to kick self*

"It was not long after that that everybody was twenty-six. It became the period of being twenty-six. During the next two or three years all the young men were twenty-six years old. It was the right age apparently for that time and place. There were one or two under twenty...but they did not count as Gertrude Stein carefully explained to them."

(I think I see room for two on that bench, what'd ya say Flaneur?)

He's reading and she's talking to the ducks (quack quack). He's reading and she running over. She's running over and she's running over and she's running over and she's running with the ducks (waddle waddle webbed feet). She's running over and she's plopping down on the bench.

Just duckie.

A duck quacks. She hurmphs. She plops down and she draws up her legs. Her legs are up and she turns. She lays down on the bench. He reads and she lays down her legs on the bench. Her legs lay. She lays and her legs lay and her head lays in his lap. You are worse than my cat, he says. A pussy cats purrs. She purrs and says she's also a whole lot better. He's lifts his book but she rests her head and so he rests his book like she rests on her head. Better to read my book with you mean. A person hurmphs. Meanie. He moves his book now now she is shaded, don't have a cow. Do. Cows do moo. I do have a cow with you.

I realised only a couple of days ago that one of my gravest mistakes so far in life and relationships is trying to make things the way they once were. Not only is it unfair, but it's impossible. Things can never return to the way they were -- you have to let yourself be open to new things that are good in different ways. smile

i'm sick, you're tired, let's dance. kiss

is your job still the awesomeness?

Weekend Update

Friday arrived in a blur and I realised that I needed to slow down. Went to see Sin City with the guys from work (yes, North American readers, please laugh - it has JUST opened here), which I enjoyed somewhat; stylistically beautiful and certainly true to the genre. Most of my criticisms would apply just as much to the graphic novels themselves, so...
