Ah the beautiful part about working at a hotel. So after watching Mad Max, I decided to go back into watching some good ole Batman Beyond.
This got me thinking about to when I was a kid. Most kids, from my experience want to be the Hero, Batman, Superman, Spider-Man you get the picture. I always wanted to be Robin (The Richard Grayson Robin) not the others. IN my own right, I can be the Hero, but being the guy in the background fits me very well. Plus, I feel like I would look better in green tights. Now a day I still identify with Robin, now in a Nightwing level, I am my own “Hero” in my own right, but when Bats needs me. I am there. This I think represents a good way how I handle my family issues as well. I am the outcast of my family, never been close to anyone really. Always had my head in the books, games or in the sky, I am there when they need me, but return to the shadows after I am done. Maybe when I get older and wiser I will see the errors, but I am more like my Father in ways of personality than I look like him.
I have more to say about the Super Hero comparison, but that will be for another time.
Oh and for the record, Nightwing could totally kick Batman’s ass.
Catch you later….
