London is the most beautiful city, stealing lyrics from the editors, but it literally is. I've found a place in the west, full of aussies and kiwis which is annoying, i'm trying to escape them! Everyone is so lovely here, with the slight exception of those whom work in hospitality, i've never seen such a depressed bunch of people. I went to a bar the other night in Earls Court where Bob Dylan used to play there! I was amazed! The music was so my scene, i was in heaven. I still havn't seen many cool and ecentric folk until i headed up north to Camden, now that was breath taking.
I miss my family and friends, and the food! I didn' realise how great the food is in Melbourne until i left it, but i'll survive. Everything is packaged! You have to discover the local markets to get fresh stuff. Maybe i need to be shown around by some locals, any takers? I'm still not my normal bubbly self, i've never experienced jet lag before, it was my first time, and halfway across the world and i'm here. I also have a infected ear which makes me feel like i'm on a ship out at sea...whinge whinge. I'll stop.
All i need is a job! Then i'll be happy. And maybe a man. I don't think the local boys love me here. But you should've seen them on my stop over in Doha! My sister and i were the only caucasians, blonde, blue eyed girls around, people were taking photos of us we felt special, but the women looked at us in disgust, i think we showed took much skin. After a few hours we got over it, and need a proper civialisation, Heathrow treated us well. And then i got to see my other sister with whom i hadn't seen in a year! I was so happy, she'd just been to the greek islands and is so tanned, opposed from me, very pale, but i like it that way.
I'm sure i've bored everyone with all of this crap, that is my life. (Here's a pic of my sister and i in chinatown)
