What a weekend it was. I went through and had my birthday this past Friday, and it was a fun one. Started off by Thursday doing some class observation up at the University of Kansas, and then going out with my friend Frank Perez and did some night photography, the first time we went out in a LONG time to do some night photography. Here are a few of my favorite ones from that night.
That was a fun night and I hope to go out again sometime soon.
After that on Friday, went down to Chanute, KS to attend the 99th annual Chanute Mexican Fiesta, and got to see a lot of family that it had been too long since I last saw them. WAY too long. Some, almost a year.
Saturday, that was a work day. Went and photographed the Swope Park Rangers for their next to last home game. Got some great photos then as well, and here are some of my favs from the game.
Then...Sunday, that was a fun time as we went to the KC Ren Fest and spent the day out there, me, Sam, Josh and Zoe.
And after all that was said and done, yesterday my friend Ray took me out to dinner and drinks.
So that was a great and fun filled weekend. Now it is time to get back on the daily grind...Classes started this week, so I am taking a business class and starting my graduate teaching internship. So, wish me luck this quarter. It will be an interesting one.
