I love living on the coast. I love that I was born on the coast. The smell of wet peat, and cedar boughs is home to me. I'm reminded of it by all the people who visit who have never even seen a bald eagle before. Their wonder keeps me appreciative of where I am. It's easy to sour in your hometown, but I meet people from all over the world that travel just for a piece of my backyard.
Tourists are annoying, but their wonder is inspiring. One more month of tourism whoredom, then back to school. I can't wait for this semester.
Go outside, people. MUAHH.

Not many know the local slang name. Are you local or an island hopper?
